Ok, yes... this is a photograph of the flowers I bought my wife for Valentines Day. Nice eh? Well, good - now that we have that out of the way, let's explain WHY I'm taking this picture ;-) It has come to my attention that my daughter is going off on a trip to Oregon in March - and she is without a camera. What's a father to do? I mean, what kind of dad would I be to let my child - whom I love - go all the way into some of the most beautiful scenery this country has to offer - without a camera??? That would rank right up there as child abuse if you ask me.
So, I went out tonight and bought a camera (click here) that I will *loan* to her as she goes on her exciting adventures in the wilds of the Northwest. Not bad for a point and shoot - but let's not be less than forthcoming: This image has been post-processed through Photoshop Elements :-) Still not bad!
I hope she enjoys my new toy... oh, did I say that out loud? I meant to say *HER* new toy ;-)
