As dry as the Drying Beds have become, it's become a fairly lousy photography location... I did go out there today and managed to get this one decent shot of a killdeer... however, the ground on which he stands is the dried up pond bed... earlier in the spring, if he was in this same location, he'd either be underwater, or floating ;-) Enjoy!

Black Necked Stilt
Took this picture back in the middle of August when there was still some water at the Village Creek Drying Beds.... right now, they're basically dry. Bummer!
